01 Sep Training Delivered In Tendering For Large Desalination Projects

MEDRC recently hosted an intensive four day training session on Tendering for Large Desalination Projects, attended by experts from Palestine and Jordan. The session was arranged in cooperation with the Jordan Valley Authority and the Palestinian Water Authority and included participants from Jordanian Ministry for Water and Irrigation; the Palestinian Water Authority; the Coastal Municipal Water Utility, Gaza; the Gaza Municipality and the Jordan Valley Authority.

The course also included a visit to the Episkopi Desalination Plant in Limmasol, Cyprus where participants met with Mr Nikos Neocleous CWO of the Water Development Department and toured the facilities accompanied by plant manager Mr Koutsakos.

HE Saad Abou Hamamour, Secretary General of the Jordan Valley Authority presented the participants with certificates of attendance.
