MEDRC is an international organisation established by states to find new ways of using transboundary environmental issues to support peace process and improved international relations. Based on the approach of absolute equality MEDRC conducts conflict resolution activities regionally and globally. A core part of MEDRC's peace mandate centers around the idea of utilizing the environment as an entry point into peace processes. MEDRC has both practical experience in delivering complex dialogues in conflict areas, addressing the complexities of integrating political and technical approaches, as well as research into environmental peacebuilding.
