19 Apr MEDRC Signs a Memorandum of Understanding with the National Centre of Excellence in Desalination Australia

The Middle East Desalination Research Center has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the National Centre of Excellence in Desalination Australia to provide a framework to develop the following activities and to promote mutual understanding between the Parties.

The Parties agree to collaborate as follows:

a) Knowledge exchange and sharing of best practices. 

b) Sharing names of subject matter experts including members of research advisory councils.

c) Collaboration on joint funding proposals for projects and conferences in areas of mutual strengthens, especially when one Party can facilities the rapid implementation of new technologies and concepts.

d) Access to the latest research and activities funded by the Parties.

e) Exchange of personnel with centers associated with MEDRC.

The Parties recognize the significant set of shared values, missions, goals and constituencies of their organizations, particularly in the areas of applied research, advanced water treatment, desalination, water reuse, and water diplomacy.
