MEDRC hosted the kick off meeting for the project “Use of End of Life RO Membranes to Treat Wastewater for Industrial and Agricultural Use”.
Working with The Research Council, MEDRC are leading a 2-year water research project to investigate the potential of reusing discarded reverse osmosis desalination membranes for treating wastewater for industrial or agricultural use.
The meeting took place at MEDRC HQ in Muscat and was attended by representatives from the project partners including SQU, Majis and IMDEA (Spain).
MEDRC have issued a call for applications from young water researchers in Oman to form part of the project investigation team.
