At the request of Member States, MEDRC provides briefings for diplomats and officials working on transboundary water issues. These are practical guides for those working on transboundary waters and those seeking to use water as an instrument of peace. They are modest introductions that provide examples of potential tools and approaches for practitioners. They are also designed to help overcome the academic-practitioner gap in this important area. Though not initially intended as public documents, we are providing them online now in response to the positive feedback and the many requests from governments, organisations and individuals working in the field  for copies and updates.
