24 Jun MEDRC at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, 2019

MEDRC Center Director Ciarán Ó Cuinn was invited to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) 2019 in The Hague on June 3-5 2019. Co hosted by the United States and the Netherlands the GES event provides a unique international platform where entrepreneurs can present their innovative solutions to global challenges. Mr. Ó Cuinn attended the Future Now session on Uniting Water Energy and Food, where he delivered a presentation on the Oman Humanitarian Desalination Challenge – a joint initiative led by MEDRC and The Research Council in Oman. The Challenge looks to deliver a hand-held, stand-alone, low-cost, desalination device for short-term use and rapid deployment following a humanitarian crises.
