Held under the auspices of the Public Authority for Electricity & Water (PAEW) of Oman, this award is designed to recognize young Omani researchers whose work has led to improvements in:

This year’s competition is bigger and more ambitious than before. It sees a number of changes that will allow us highlight even more Omani water research. The age limit has been increased to include 20-35yrs and a second category has been added with a prize to be awarded to both undergraduate and postgraduate winners.

“With this award we aim to showcase high quality research undertaken by talented researchers whose work has made a significant and valuable contribution to the water sector” says Dr. Jauad El Kharraz, Head of Research at MEDRC.
