23 Mar MEDRC Water Research Fellowships: 2016 Program Announcement

MEDRC is delighted to announce the 2016 Water Research Fellowship Program in collaboration with the Palestinian Water Authority and the Ministry of Water and Irrigation, Jordan. 

This is a unique initiative that supports Jordanian and Palestinian researchers at Jordanian and Palestinian Universities. The goal of the initiative is to build local capacity and seek research solutions to pressing water sector priorities as defined by Palestinian and Jordanian water authorities and universities. 

Since 2012 MEDRC has offered more than 100 Masters Research Fellowships focused on water management, reuse and desalination. 

MEDRC Research Fellows are committed to the further development of water management, desalination or reuse in their respective countries. Alumni are part of an extensive network, stimulating international dialogue and cross-cultural exchange.

Successful candidates receive a partial contribution towards tuition fees, living expenses and research costs. Applications for the 2016 Fellowship Program will be accepted in April 2016 through the participating universities.

منح جامعية لأبحاث تحلية المياه: إعلان برنامج 2016

يسر مركز الشرق الأوسط لأبحاث التحلية “مدرك”  أن يعلن عن برنامج المنح الجامعية لأبحاث المياه لعام 2016 بالتعاون مع سلطة المياه الفلسطينية ووزارة المياه والري الأردنية.

هذه مبادرة فريدة من نوعها لدعم الباحثين الأردنيين و الفلسطينيين في الجامعات الأردنية و الفلسطينية. الهدف من هذه المبادرة هو دعم القدرات المحلية و البحث عن حلول مبتكرة للتحديات الملحة لقطاع المياه وفقا لأولويات الجامعات و سلطات المياه الفلسطينية و الأردنية. 

منح “مدرك” منذ 2012 أكثر من 100 منحة لبحوث الماجستير في مجالات إدارة المياه وإعادة استخدامها وتحليتها.

ويتعهد خريجو برامج المنح الدراسية ل”مدرك” بتطوير أدوات إدارة المياه و تقنيات تحليتها و إعادة استخدامها في بلدانهم. الخريجون هم جزء من شبكة واسعة تضطلع بدور كبير في تحفيز و تنشيط الحوار الدولي والتبادل الثقافي.

يحصل المرشحون الفائزون على مساهمة جزئية في الرسوم الدراسية، ونفقات المعيشة و تكاليف البحوث. سيتم قبول الطلبات لبرنامج المنح الدراسية لعام 2016 في أبريل / نيسان  2016 من خلال الجامعات المشاركة.
