24 Jul MEDRC Expansion Continues With New Research Wing to Open

The MEDRC Headquarters in Muscat Oman, has underdone major new refurbishments with an extra 200 square meters of floor space added to the facility this year. The overhaul saw a brand new training center opened in April this year containing a large workshop, an interactive seminar room and office space. The construction work has continued throughout the summer with a state of the art research wing to open later this month. Central to the space is the newly expanded laboratory with individual workstations to support up to 20 people and optimally configured to cater to the needs of the MEDRC training department. The extended facilities will provide MEDRC with the resources required to continue to build capacity within the water sector in Oman and the MENA region and to further its commitment to finding solutions to fresh water scarcity.
